The Private Bin was a popular nightclub during the 1980's and 1990's in Canberra, Australia frequented often by rugby players and soldiers. The club was located on Northbourne Avenue, in Civic in the Sydney building. The club had a bar, several levels and incorporated the Waffles Piano Bar. It held comedy nights on Wednesdays, and sometimes held school socials. The club was one of the most well known nightclubs in Canberra before it closed.

On busy nights the club could see up to 5,000 patrons passing through the doors.

In 1993, Aussie Basketball legend met the infamous Gumby here. Life was never the same again.

Comedian David Callan spent three years performing stand up comedy at the club between 1990 and 1993. [1]
