Womb, (Future Style) in Dogenzaka, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan was recently voted one of the top nightclubs in the world by Mixmag magazine.
The attraction of Womb is its sound and lighting system, perhaps unsurpassed, in Japan.
Womb opened 2000.
Womb is basically a large rectangular box. The entrance is on the ground floor, where, there is also a small chill-out lounge. The main floor with its giant mirror ball is on the 2nd floor. The DJ booth, on the 3rd floor, overlooks the main floor. On the fourth floor is another bar, lounge. The fourth floor is sometimes VIP only.
DJs who have played at Womb recently include: Sasha, Deep Dish, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, and many more.
